Cave Tours Standard

  • The cave can only be visited on a guided tour.
  • The entrance fee encludes the guided tour of the cave in German and an museum audio guide in English, Nederlands and Dansk.
  • The standard tour takes about 30 minutes. 
  • The path to the cave and meeting point runs through the underground museum and takes about 10 minutes.
  • For English guided tours a reservation in advance is necessary.

The last cave tour of the day always starts at 16:00 at the assembly point, approximately 10 minutes walk from the main entrance! Please be there in time.

8 °C, gradient of 17 % and cave with 100 natural steps upwards and downwards. Sturdy shoes and warm clothing needed. The cave is largely unsuitable for wheelchair users and people with walking difficulties.

Audio Guide - english, dutch, danish

  • Our webbased English, dutsch and danish mediaguide gives rich information about the excavation and the research results of the Lichtenstein Cave and also about the exhibition underground.There you will find information about the Iberg geology and the Iberg Dripstone Cave.

  • ask for rental devices (a fee will be charged and a deposit is taken). 

The Museum and − but only with help of a companion − also the exihibition underground are accessible to wheelchair users.
